British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Production Certificates
The Archive of the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust preserves the surviving records of some of the most famous names in British motoring history. The Archive department offers the proud classic car owner a Heritage Certificate which is a certified copy of the entry against the chassis number in the authentic factory ledgers. Discover the original numbers and colour scheme, dates of build and despatch, and where available, the details of factory fitted equipment. Certificates are not available for TA, TB, TC, or early TD. Certificates are available for cars produced 1953 – 1980.  See the link below to read about the service or order a certificate.  This service is a pay service which provides your with a nice certificate suitable for framing.

Distributor Rebuild/Replacement Service
Jeff and Michelle Schlemmler offer comprehensive Lucas distributor restorations and carries a wide selection of replacement parts.  They also offer advance recurving for modern fuels and supplies the popular Pertronix pointless ignition conversion kits.  Their restorations have received very positive comments from customers.  Vast improvements in running temperatures, horsepower, and fuel efficiency can be gained by a properly functioning ignition system.

Negative Ground Conversions
O’Connor Classic Autos has written up an informative page on converting your car from positive ground to negative ground.  This is considered by many to be essential if you run your car with modern electrical accessories.  If you enjoy your car without such accessories – continuing with a positive ground system is no problem. 

Ontario MGT Register Tech Tips and Procedures
This is a very helpful compilation of various web-based tech tips and technical information for TC, TD/TF, and other general technical tips your cars.  Visit the site and explore the various subjects. An excellent resource.

TA/TB/TC/TD/TF Car/Engine/Body Numbers and Online T Type Owner Registry
General information on the various numbers used to identify your MG.  This information was compiled by the Niagara British Car Club, Niagara Region, Ontario, Canada.  The information may be used to participate in an effort to register current owners of all T Types known to exist. Visit the site and enter your information.

TD/TF Clutch “Fix”
Our friends at O’Connor Classic Autos in Santa Clara, CA have come up with a helpful modification to the sometimes troublesome, rod-activated clutch mechanism.  Many have made this modification with positive results.  

TD/TF Rear End Conversion from 5.125:1 or 4.875:1 to 4.3:1
A detailed description of the TD/TF rear end conversion process that has been used by the SEMGTR.  This article was written by our own Len Thomas and Paul Lunney.  It appeared in North American Classic MG Magazine (Issue 3, Summer 2001).

T Type Factory Production Records
The MG Factory Production Records for all T Types are available for searching below. Simply enter your chassis number and click "Search" to return the production record data held for your car, which is its original engine number and the date it rolled off the production line.  This information is made available courtesy of the MG Car Club’s T Register.  This is a free search offering basic information on your T Type.
